2011 Packard Fellowship for Science and Engineering

The Packard Fellowship in Science and Engineering, a program that provides $875,000 over five years to support the nation's most promising young professors (initial faculty appointments must have been made no earlier than May 31, 2008, and no later than May 31, 2011). In order to make our campus selections, potential nominees should submit the following to the Vice Chancellor for Research by 5 p.m., January 7, 2011 at http://innovation.colorado.edu/competitions/Packard/application.php.

  • Current CV
  • Two-page research statement of goals for the next five years and their signficance
  • Letter of recommendation from the department chair
  • List of the names of three external references from whom letters of support can be solicited

An internal University of Colorado committee will select nominees.
